William Kourakos

Mr. Kourakos is a Partner of Perella Weinberg Partners.

Prior to joining Perella Weinberg Partners, Mr. Kourakos was a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley in the Global Capital Markets, Fixed Income, and Investment Banking Divisions. He was the Global Head of Leveraged Finance from 1997 to 2004, and at various periods managed Morgan Stanley’s capital markets activities in high yield bonds, bank loans, emerging markets and private placements. He was Co-Chair of Morgan Stanley’s Capital Commitment Committee. He has extensive expertise in global capital markets, risk management, credit analysis, fixed income and equity products, corporate bond trading and corporate finance.

Mr. Kourakos received a Bachelor of Science from the University of Maine and a Masters in Business Administration from George Washington University.
