Alexander Svoyskiy

Managing Director New York

Mr. Svoyskiy is a Managing Director in Perella Weinberg Partners’ Advisory business. He focuses on advising clients regarding capital structure, liability management, restructuring and distressed M&A solutions.

Mr. Svoyskiy has over 18 years of investment banking experience assisting clients in a wide range of matters. During his tenure at Perella Weinberg Partners, he has advised Approach Resources on its sale to Zarvona Energy, Atlas Resource Partners on its prepackaged restructuring, Garrett Motion on its evaluation of capital structure alternatives relating to its $3.2 billion of debt and other liabilities; International Automotive Components on its rescue financing, and Memorial Production Partners on its pre-arranged reorganization, among others. Mr. Svoyskiy has also advised the holders of the General Obligations and PBA bonds of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, and has advised various private equity sponsors, including Riverstone Holdings on its recapitalization of Fieldwood Energy, Quantum Pacific on its restructuring of Pacific Drilling, and the private owner of Eco-Bat Holdings.

Prior to joining Perella Weinberg Partners in November of 2015, Mr. Svoyskiy was a Director at Rothschild Inc., an investment banking firm that provides global M&A and restructuring advisory services, from November of 2009 to September of 2015. While at Rothschild, Mr. Svoyskiy focused on capital structure restructuring, liability management and distressed M&A transactions for a variety of clients, including Arcapita, Aquilex, Cash Stores, Deb Shops, Global Geophysical, Mood Media, Neenah Foundries, Trump Entertainment Resorts, and URBI, among others. Prior to joining Rothschild Inc, Mr. Svoyskiy held positions at Lehman Brothers, CDG Group and Credit Suisse.

Mr. Svoyskiy earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the Stern School of Business at New York University.
