Mr. Senoussi is a Director in Perella Weinberg Partners’ Advisory business. He focuses on advising clients in capital structure advisory, restructuring, liability management and distressed M&A.
Mr. Senoussi has more than nine years of investment banking experience assisting companies on a wide range of strategic matters. During his tenure at Perella Weinberg Partners, he has advised California Resources Corporation in connection with its $1.4 billion tender offer to repurchase its senior notes and second lien notes, and its $1.0 billion first lien second out term loan capital raise; Ad-hoc group of DRH secured noteholders in connection with Ocean Rig’s $3.8 billion restructuring; Edison Mission Energy in connection with its chapter 11 restructuring of approximately $5.0 billion of liabilities; and currently advising the official committee of unsecured creditors of Seadrill Ltd. in connection with Seadrill’s chapter 11 restructuring of approximately $8.0 billion of debt.
Prior to joining Perella Weinberg Partners in July of 2012, Mr. Senoussi was at Al Ahly Capital from 2009 to 2010, where he most recently served as a Senior Associate responsible for evaluating investment opportunities and overseeing the firm’s investment portfolio. He was previously an Associate at Beltone Financial, where he advised companies in connection with M&A and capital market transactions. Mr. Senoussi began his career as a corporate credit Analyst for the Arab African International Bank.
At Beltone Financial, he actively worked with clients, advising Orascom Development Holdings AG on its acquisition of Orascom Hotels and Development and its concurrent initial public offering; Arab Cotton Ginning on its acquisition of Amwal Al Arabia Holding Company; and Savola Group on a potential acquisition for an Egyptian food company.
Mr. Senoussi earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, magna cum laude, from the American University in Cairo and a Master’s in Business Administration with honors from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Senoussi also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
