Christopher Kraft

Executive Director, Advisory

Mr. Kraft is an Executive Director in Perella Weinberg Partners’ Advisory business.  He focuses on advising clients in the Financial Services Sector.

Mr. Kraft has more than nine years of investment banking experience assisting companies on a wide range of strategic matters.  During his tenure at Perella Weinberg Partners, he has advised Julius Baer on the acquisition of Merrill Lynch’s International Wealth Management activities outside the US; Man Group on the acquisition of GLG Partners; Hg Capital / Ullink on the acquisition of NYFIX and Metabit from ICE; Lone Star on the sale of Corealcredit Bank to Aareal Bank; the Schroeder family on the sale of DBRS to the Carlyle Group and Warburg Pincus and the Independent Board of Directors of Dexia SA on the sale of Dexia Banque Belgium to the Belgium State.

Prior to joining Perella Weinberg Partners in September of 2009, Mr. Kraft was at Nomura from 2008 to 2009, where he served as an Analyst in the European Financial Institutions Group. Mr. Kraft began his career as an Analyst at Lehman Brothers.

At Nomura and Lehman Brothers, he actively worked with clients in Germany, Switzerland and Austria, advising amongst others the City of Hamburg and the Federal State of Schleswig-Holstein regarding the €3B recapitalization and €10B Second Loss Guarantee of HSH Nordbank.

Mr. Kraft earned a Master of Science and Diplôme de Grande École from ESCP Europe.
