Mr. Czarnick is an Executive Director in Perella Weinberg Partners’ Advisory business.  He focuses on advising companies and creditors regarding financial restructuring transactions.

Mr. Czarnick has more than 15 years of investment banking experience assisting companies on a wide range of strategic matters.  During his tenure at Perella Weinberg Partners, he has advised Blackhawk Mining on an out-of-court restructuring of approximately $900 million of debt, Bonanza Creek Energy on its pre-packaged chapter 11 restructuring of $1.2 billion of debt and $200 million rights offering, James River Coal Company on its chapter 11 restructuring and the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation in respect to its $1.2 billion claim in the chapter 11 restructuring of Eastman Kodak Company.

Prior to joining Perella Weinberg Partners in August of 2010 upon completion of his graduate studies, Mr. Czarnick was at Citigroup from 2004 to 2008, where he most recently served as a Vice President of Strategy and M&A responsible for executing acquisitions, divestitures and strategic alliances for Citigroup.  He was previously an investment banking analyst in the healthcare group of Bank of America and began his career in the global energy investment banking group of Credit Suisse First Boston.

Mr. Czarnick earned a Master’s of Business Administration degree from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor’s of Science degree from Cornell University.
