Mr. Haines is a Partner in Perella Weinberg Partners’ Advisory business.  He focuses on advising clients on mergers, acquisitions and divestitures across a diversified set of industries and geographies.

Mr. Haines has more than 16 years of investment banking experience assisting companies on a wide range of strategic matters.  During his tenure at Perella Weinberg Partners, he has advised on a number of significant transactions, including Scorpio Tankers on its acquisition of Navig8 Product Tankers, Johnson Electric on its acquisition of Stackpole International, Qatar Investment Authority on its acquisition of a 19.9% stake in HK Electric Investments, Bevyz on its sale to Keurig Green Mountain, Norwegian Cruise Line on its acquisition of Prestige Cruises International, TreeHouse Foods on its acquisition of Flagstone Foods, Sealy on its sale to Tempur-Pedic, and Solutia on its sale to Eastman Chemical.

Prior to joining Perella Weinberg Partners in 2006, Mr. Haines was an Associate Director in the Mergers and Acquisitions Group at UBS Investment Bank, both in London and New York.  Before enrolling in business school, Mr. Haines was an Analyst in Morgan Stanley’s Investment Banking Division and an Associate at Westbrook Partners, a real estate private equity firm in New York.

Mr. Haines received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, cum laude, from Princeton University and a Masters in Business Administration with Honors from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
